Team Rider Shawn

My name is Shawn and I am thirteen years old. The first twelve years of my life where not so good then one day I prayed that God would get me out of the mess my home life was in. That’s when all kinds of good things started happening in my life. Bill Mohler, the founder of Heaven Skates, now has custody of me and I have a great home and when we are finished building our new skate park I will have a great time skate boarding and I will have all the time in the world to get better.

Team Rider Eric

Hi. My Name is Eric and I am fourteen years old. I make As and Bs in school and I am an honor roll student. My mom is a librarian at a local school and my dad is a construction worker. I am a Christian skater and was saved at age 12. When I was six my Dad found a skateboard in the woods one day outside his job site and brought it home for me. I still have that board because I find it a blessing because without it I probably wouldn’t have gotten into skateboarding.

I started really skateboarding when I was in 7^th grade about two years ago. I met some friends who showed me some tricks and me and my friend Matt took it from there. I believe in God 110% and if you have a problem with that then you're looking at the wrong web site. I was born in Atlanta, GA and my favorite skateboard company is flip, and my favorite shoes are Es. My favorite skaters are Ryan Shecker, Arto Sarri, and Eric Koston. My favorite trick is a 3 flip. I have landed a kickflip over a seven stair, and a kickflip 180 to a switch hurricane. I am proudly sponsored by Heaven Skates, and I am glad it is a Christian-based team.
